DODGE Sierra Wagon with Rear-Facing Third-Row “Spectator” Seats

This 1959 Dodge Custom Sierra wagon is finished in aquamarine and cream over green vinyl and cloth upholstery and is powered by a 361ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Work under current ownership included a repaint, retrimming the interior, and replacement of the brakes, tires, and shocks as well as refurbishing the carburetor and cooling system. Features include chrome bumpers and trim, a roof rack, 14″ wheels with polished covers, swiveling front seats, fold-down second-row seats, a rear-facing third-row “Spectator” bench seat, a receiver hitch, and fender-mounted mirrors. This Spectator Wagon is offered with spare parts, partial records, manufacturer’s literature, a jack and lug wrench, and a clean Kansas title in the name of the seller’s trust. The body is painted in aquamarine and cream and is said to have been refinished under current ownership. Additional work reportedly included replacement of the weather stripping and window channeling as well as re-chroming the bumpers. Equipment includes a chrome grille, roof rack, side moldings, and fender-mounted mirrors as well as tinted windows, a receiver hitch, and a fold-down rear tailgate with a power-retractable window. Blemishes include rubbed through paint on the driver-side fender and etching on the rear glass. The cabin features seats upholstered in green vinyl with patterned cloth inserts joined by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The front bucket seats swivel, and the second row and rear-facing third-row “Spectator” seats fold flat. Features include lap belts, wind-up windows, a push-button gear selector, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. Work under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the upholstery, door panels, and carpets as well as repair of the headliner. The push-button AM radio and clock are broken, and the dome light does not activate with the driver’s door. 1956 Nash Ambassador Super Join us as we visit with Jim about his rare 1956 Nash Ambassador Super The Nash Ambassador is a luxury automobile that was produced by Nash Motors from 1927 until 1957. For the first five years it was a top trim level, then from 1932 on a standalone model. Ambassadors were lavishly equipped and beautifully constructed, earning them the nickname “the Kenosha Duesenberg”. But for a period between 1929-1934 when Nash produced a line of seven-passenger saloons and limousines, the Ambassador series was the maker’s "flagship", and remained so following the Nash-Hudson merger in 1954. From 1958 until 1965, the cars were named Rambler Ambassador and then from the 1966 through 1974 model years as the AMC Ambassador. The continued use the Ambassador model name made it "one of the longest-lived automobile nameplates in automotive history.” Ambassador models fielded for 1956 were heavily re-styled in the rear with big "lollipop" taillights and the cars were offered in a variety of two-and three-tone color schemes. The Ambassador line up was reduced to Super sedans with I6 engines as well as V8 powered Super and Custom sedans and the hardtop Custom Country Club. Get closer and it's obvious that's not the right word to describe this VW. What we love about this car is how Stehly applied a classic hot-rod approach to his front-drive, four-cylinder VW hatchback The Oettinger OKRASA 16-valve heads are the German equivalent of an ARDUN conversion on a Ford flathead. The engine bay and underside of the hood feature a ridiculous amount of metalwork. There are unnecessarily complicated details, like how the factory square door corners have been rounded and the body opening filled in to match, as well as how Stehly pulled out the wheel arches without messing with the rest of the fenders. 1951 Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet The Mercedes-Benz W187 is a luxury car produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1951 to 1955. Introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in April 1951, the W187 was powered by a single overhead camshaft inline six-cylinder M180 engine and available as a saloon, coupé, and cabriolet, all designated with the 220 model name. Despite its pre-World War II reputation as a manufacturer of luxury cars, in the immediate post-war years Mercedes-Benz produced only four-cylinder-engined passenger cars. The W187 Mercedes-Benz 220 and flagship W186 Mercedes-Benz 300 Adenauer introduced together in 1951 were the first Mercedes to once again feature six-cylinder engines. The styling was similar to that of the Mercedes-Benz 170S except that the 170's freestanding headlights were for the 220 integrated into the fenders for a slightly more modern look. Two different cabriolet models were built, conceived as exclusive sporting cars of exclusive character, but these only sold 1,278 and 997 for the "A" (2-door, 2/3-seat) and "B" (2-door, 4-seat) versions, respectively. In December 1953, just as the saloon and cabriolet "B" models were about to be replaced, a "Cabriolet A" derived W187 Coupé was announced for 1954. The Mercedes-Benz sales department let it be known that this development was a direct response to pressing requests from leading celebrities of the time. During 1953 the manufacturer replaced the conventionally flat windscreen on the 2/3 seater "Cabriolet A" with a slightly curved screen, which also found its way on to the new coupé: this was a way of highlighting the sporting nature of both models. !925 Bentley 3 Litre - Philip and Anne share their rare W.O.

Revered by collectors the world over, the Bentleys built between 1919 and 1931 have gone down in history as some of the most important and valuable motor cars ever made, a period when Walter Owen Bentley’s eponymous automobiles ruled the open road and came to dominate the French endurance classic held annually in the town of Le Mans. The earliest model to wear the famous winged radiator badge first appeared in prototype form at the Olympia Motor Show in 1919. Powered by a four-cylinder engine with a bore and stroke of 80mm by 149mm and a single overhead camshaft, the 3-litre was a technical marvel, boasting four valves per cylinder and an output estimated to be around 70 horsepower at 3500 rpm. Production commenced at Cricklewood in 1921, with early cars built on a 9’ 9.5” two-wheel braked chassis before the Standard Long chassis of 10’ 10” was adopted in 1923, the shorter chassis reserved thereafter for the so-called ‘Red Label’ Speed Model. Bentley adopted Perrot-type brakes on all four wheels in 1924 and many customers took the opportunity to update their two-wheel braked cars at additional cost. The original Smiths carburettor was later replaced with a later 45BVS type and a Claudel-Hobson item became optional, while Speed models employed twin SUs. Bentley Motors guaranteed 75 mph was possible on the longer chassis model, with speeds increasing to 80 mph for the short and 90 mph on the Speed model, although the weight of the coachwork necessarily influenced an individual car’s performance. In addition to the success enjoyed at Le Mans, which the 3-litre claimed in 1924 and again in 1927, the model also finished second in the 1922 Tourist Trophy held on the Isle of Man, a fine record for what was essentially a production road car. The vast majority of 3-litres wore bodywork by Vanden Plas although the finest coachbuilders of the day, including the likes of Gurney Nutting, Freestone & Webb, Park Ward and H J Mulliner, all contributed to the wonderful variety of bodywork that graced the 3-litre chassis, ranging in style from simple open tourers to elaborate coupé de villes. Bentley built around 1615 production 3-litres between 1921 and 1924 and it remains one of the finest, not to mention collectible, sporting cars of the era.
